Rob is a director of Lifeworlds and one of its foundlings. He co-ordinates the practitoner team and is responsible for the day to day running of Lifeworlds.
Rob has held various former roles including as a researcher and lecturer in three UK universities and as an acclaimed non-fiction author of over 100 children's books.
His work has taken him to Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, and his roles have included staff development, policy research, resource production, strategic planning, conference facilitation and direct work with learners of all ages.
Rob regularly publishes articles and blogs relating to his work and is currently completing a PhD in Young People, Power and Social Transformation with the Dept of Social Studies at Northumbria University. He is best known for designing and leading transformational learning journeys and within Lifeworlds leads on work around the leadership of change, and a deeper understanding of values, empathy and resilience as they relate to learning.
