Our story began in 2008 as conversations about doing learning differently became ideas, and eventually plans.
Between 2008 and 2018 our activity was dominated by working with education settings in the UK, but over this period our collaborations diversified to include international work and partnerships with non-educational settings. We are honoured and grateful to have learned alongside international non-governmental organisations (INGOs), regional authorities, third-sector organisations, community groups, universities, UN agencies, and countless individual thinkers, educators and others involved in changemaking.
If you're interested in our activity, experience and emergence as an organisation then we have gathered some of our collaborations, projects, publications and events into a portfolio.
“We will always live in flux, we will always travel and never arrive”
(Robert Chambers)
Navigating flux has been at the heart of our continuing emergence as an organisation. We have seen considerable change for those we work with, in the issues we focus on, and for our own organisation. We continue to navigate these changes, believing that the process makes us stronger and better able to partner with those doing the same. As we face the future and move towards our third decade of learning to make a difference, we are guided by our Learning to THRIVE approach. This builds on our experience to date and the many funds of knowledge we have been privileged to engage with and learn from along the way.
